Very professional and friendly staff who are dedicated to making pets and owners experience memorable. Their experience in handling pets and making them feel comfortable definitely shows. Great alternative living facility for our fur babies when needed.

We used Cats Castle to board our cat while on vacation. We had never used a boarding facility before and were confident from reading previous reviews that we had chosen the right place for our fur baby. We were not disappointed. When we dropped off our cat we got to see the ‘suite’ she would be staying in and frankly we were impressed at the organization and safety features they had in place for the facility (loved the double gated doors so no escapees) and a nice window view to bird feeders outside. I was impressed that the C.C team also fed the birds outside to encourage visual stimulation for the boarding cats! And then, After 5 days of boarding, we received an email that our cat wasn’t eating and the team was monitoring the situation. For a cat that was always begging for food at home this was highly unusual and we were concerned, but being 5000 miles away meant that we could do nothing ourselves. We had to trust the C.C team and they went above and beyond to assist in my eyes. the team at Cats Castle kept me informed daily (sometimes more than once since I was very worried) of the situation and was more than willing to facilitate a trip to the vet clinic if needed. They even went so far as to syringe feed her chicken baby food to tempt her to eat. Well eventually after about three more days our cat finally came around and started eating her own food again. Without the C.C team’s careful attention the situation could have been very different. I cannot thank the team enough for the extraordinary care and attention given to our cat. It meant so much to me that we had an amazing team caring for her while we were so far away. I would never hesitate to use Cats Castle again, being assured that our cat was in the best possible professional hands. A HUGE Thank you to all the staff at C.C for their dedication, care and attention! If you are looking for a place to board your cat, look no further than the Cats Castle.

currently, my family and I are boarding our 3 cats. we are moving and due to the restrictions in the UK, we had to leave them here for a little while until they are eligible to come. their stay is not finished yet, however, so far this hotel has been nothing but helpful!responsive and responsible staff actually care about the cats. I feel much better knowing that they are somewhere safe during this hard time. this is day 6, and the shy members of the family have already begun loosening up.thank you so much, cats castle, for taking care of meg, jack, and marselle!

Both times that we left our cat here for ~1 week have been exceedingly positive. The staff are so attentive, responsive, and most of all they will treat your cat like one of their own. Cats get one-on-one time, catnip, and daily free roams outside of their rooms. You even have the option of getting a camera to watch a live feed of your cats from wherever you are. The best part of it all is the report card they send after the stay, it is such a nice touch and really adorable.If you're looking for a peace of mind with reasonable pricing for cat boarding, don't hesitate to reach out to Cats Castle. We'd definitely be coming back here if we ever need to again.

I was hopeful that this would be a great solution for us, because when we leave our cats at home while travelling, we often worry about whether they are lonely or bored and if their caretaker is giving adequate attention. I have boarded my cats before, and while they normally don't enjoy the process of travelling, they usually settle in after a day or two.This time both of them got incredibly sick (tests revealed it was Giardia) after they got back home. I don't think they picked it up at the cattery, as the vet said it could have been from our own garden, but they were clearly stressed enough to trigger it if it was dormant. I also suspect that cats or not separated well enough to prevent diseases from spreading.Additionally, I didn't like that you need to pay extra for every little request including feeding more than once a day or if you want the cats to be separated at night. I understand why, but it made it feel as if the "base price" was not really an accurate reflection of what we ended up spending. The timing to pick them up was also difficult as their hours are limited on the weekend. The location is kind of on a large main street so to turn in to the entrance can be a bit stressful.It does seem like this place is run efficiently and professionally, but parts of it just didn't really sit right with me.All told, it was an expensive experience, and one that my cats did not prefer. Others may find it alright if they have more laid back kitties.

We loved every part of our experience with Cats Castle! On first contact they were willing to answer all my detailed questions and listen to my needs. The staff gave excellent recommendations about which room my cats would be happiest with, and how to book a stay that might need to have flexible dates.Check-in was safe and easy and they even cleaned up the cats' crates before returning them to us. We had a bit of an unconventional stay because we moved out to BC, so the staff at Cats Castle were housing our cats as we drove the moving van across the country, then needed to coordinate with a pet moving company and special airline crates. The communication they gave throughout the whole process was great and our cats arrived safe and happy, just a little scared from the plane.When one of our cats was a bit ill a few days after arrival, I was able to call Cats Castle and get a detailed report about his eating habits and behaviour throughout his stay so I could tell the vet. It was likely just the stress of the move and he recovered quickly.We were happy with the quality of care and communication for the price and I think our cats were happy too.

This is my first experience with a cat kennel and it was OUTSTANDING!!!! In fact I've been calling it "Cat Camp"!!! My new kitten/cat was having difficulty with being left alone in my house. So while on a 25 day vacation I chose the Cat Castle. I informed the staff that he may become aggressive/agitated and they made note of his behaviour. However, within days Izzy was relaxed. The staff is outstanding, genuine and quick to respond in communication. Their weekly picture posts on Facebook is comforting and fun to see while on vacation. In fact my cat's birthday occurred while on my holiday and they gave Izzy a special treat and posted a birthday photo which was absolutely hilarious!! This is a truly unique and caring "Cat Camp" !!! It is so obvious that the staff love their job and each cat that is in their care. Izzy is so calm when he returned home and seems to have settled down.Thank you for an amazing experience and it was worth the cost!

My diabetic cat stayed at the Cats Castle for 1 month. All the Reviews are true! My cat was spoiled with lots of love and attention by All the staff and volunteers! The staff and owner are all extremely professional, reliable, responsive and friendly and they took great care of my wonderful cat while I was playing on the Beach etc.. in Hawaii —my Bucket List trip—that I could truly enjoy while I felt assured my cat was in good hands. They got in contact with me immediately about a concern for my diabetic cat and they gained my TRUST in how they cared for my cat. They all let me know how my fur baby was doing! I really enjoyed the weekly “Anonymous” photos they posted of my cat on their social media page! They did not put my cat’s name on their web page which I appreciated!Each interaction with staff from start to finish was a Great Experience! Cats Castle really cares a lot about each cat having a Great Experience! I will definitely be a Returning customer and I will spread the positive News about this great company !

Highly recommend. They are simply the best ! My cat has stayed with Cats Castle for a few years already, each stay for over one month. They showed attention and care and that really gave me peace of mind. I live in Markham and I had shopped around for a reliable cat boarding place going as far as 120 km away, and I had chosen Cats Castle. Highly recommend Cats Castle. We had to board our 3 cats here twice over the summer/fall while we got our house ready to go on the market and then again when it was time to move. All 3 were able to stay together and the discounted rate after 14 days was helpful as well. Dori, Autumn and Mia were extremely well cared for during their two stays. We enjoyed watching for the weekly update pictures on Facebook. Autumn can be a very shy and skittish cat but was around more and more outgoing after her stay at cats castle. Now that the kitties are all settled in to their new home I don’t think we will need to board them again in the future but if we did I would not hesitate to bring them back to Cats Castle.

Cats Castle is a wonderful group of cat lovers that work hard to ensure your pet is well taken care of. When I left my cat there for five days, she was going through intense treatment, with four feedings and medicine applications a day. The team did everything in their power to care for my sweet girl. When I came to pick her up, you could easily tell how much the employees care for their furry friends. After her stay, her condition worsened due to the spread of inoperable cancer, and I unfortunately had to put her down. The team at Cats Castle found out and sent me a beautiful sympathy card illustrating how much they care for all of their animal boarders, even if they stayed there just one time. I truly appreciate the care and love they showed my girl while she stayed there, and to me afterwards. A great business full of animal lovers.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Cat's Castle and the staff. We just got back from our first vacation since getting our cat and it was not easy for us to leave her. We were gone for 11 days. The staff were all so gentle and understanding. The process and connection right from the first inquiry were so reassuring and the trust starts building right away. We checked in a few times and got great, detailed feedback. But what touched our hearts the most was the genuine love and care from the staff towards the cats. Knowing we were leaving our pet in such a loving, well organized, safe environment made all the difference to us and gave us so much peace of mind. THANK YOU to all the staff. You are truly wonderful. (And honestly, that is the best nail trim she's ever had!!). Highly recommended!

Feline focused accommodations. This place is awesome! Bird feeders set up around the premises increases the bird activity outside. This enhances the experience. My cat enjoyed watching the birds through his own window.

Excellent experience! When family members were unable to take care of our three cats I was lucky to find this place online. As the reviews looked good I thought I'd go for it and I'm glad I did. Although it added to the cost of our vacation, their accommodations were spacious and after their initial settling in did well. They looked great when I picked them up and had no adjustment problems when they came home. Seeing their photos online was great too! I would not hesitate to recommend Cats Castle to fellow cat lovers and would definitely use them again. Thank you so much for loving my 'babies'.

My wife and I put our cats up here for a week, the first time having done so for any kind of cat kennel/hotel. The employees here make an obvious effort to keep the cats comfortable and engaged. We paid for the optional webcam, and we're able to check in on the cats, and the webcam software also retained history based on movement activation. While looking back into the mornings, you can see the people feeding and cleaning the cats rooms, and playing with them while doing so. I will definitely use Cats Castle without hesitation.
